SINOPACIFIC OFFSHORE AND ENGINEERING was established, end 2007, as a green field project in Qidong, Jiangsu province, alongside the Yangtze River.
This company converted into a state-of-the-art manufacturing and commissioning location for gas tanks, gas plants for gas carriers, as well as offshore cranes and offshore modules. The company relies on sub-contractors to build the hulls of the complete gas carriers it sells to its customers.
Completed orders include LPG tank sets, complete tanks, and gas plants for 16 500 m3 LPG gas carriers, and a number of offshore crane equipments for the world’s leading suppliers. Today SOE has 6 LPG 5000 m3 gas carriers on order and a number of offshore modules and offshore cranes.
SOE has also developed a joint venture partnership with WASCO to build offshore modules and equipment in China.
