As the owner of an exceptional land bank of 3,200 hectares located near the main development areas, CBo Territoria is a key player in the property development of Reunion Island, a French overseas territory that faces a scarcity of developed land and significant needs for housing and business premises.
CBo Territoria operates in all property processes, providing significant exposure to the Company:
- + Land management and development of built areas (housing estates, mixed development zones) in co-operation with local authorities: more than 150 hectares are being developed in 2010.
- + Property dealings for private and institutional clients: 1,000 housing units and 175 “ready to build” sites to be sold by end 2011.
- + Development and management of its own property assets: more than 70,000 m2 of rental property in 2010, of which a majority of business premises.
Under the CBo Habitat brand, CBo Territoria carries out housing transactions, primarily in property dealings that benefit from attractive tax provisions. This business generates the necessary self-financing capacity to develop new areas and invest in rental business property, carried out under the CBo Entreprise brand.
The Group employs a workforce of 40 and achieved 2009 consolidated revenue of € 59.9 million and net profit of € 15.5 million. Its guidance is for revenue to double by the end of 2011.
CBo Territoria is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, in the Alternext market, of which it ranks 3rd in terms of market capitalisation (May 2010).
